When and Where to Celebrate?
Officially, Kyiv Day is celebrated on the last Sunday of May, which falls on May 26, 2024. However, festive events will begin a week before this date and will last for several days.

According to legend, Kyiv was founded by three brothers - Kiy, Shchek, and Khoryv, together with their sister Lybid. They settled on the picturesque hills above the Dnieper River, where they built a city named after the eldest brother.
